Monitoring Stock

Monitoring Stock

This is the final part of the 4-part guide meant to introduce you to most of the functionality of Sneakers AIO.
This part of the guide covers general usage of the stock monitor.

The Sneakers AIO stock monitor is capable of checking websites for new products & restocks. It can be customized to automatically purchase products & alert you of certain releases.

Table of Contents:

  1. Creating a Stock Monitor Task

    1. Proxy Usage
    2. Search Types
    3. Alert on Stock
    4. Run Task on Stock
  2. Running the Stock Monitor

    1. Running & Pausing
    2. When a Release/Restock Occurs

Creating a Stock Monitor Task

  1. Click "Monitor" in the top bar of the main application to open the Stock Monitor.
  2. Click the button in the top left corner of the Stock Monitor to create a new stock monitor task.
  3. Input the required information. The notes below should help you choose the search type, product information & other options.
  4. Click the Save button to save your new stock monitor task.

Proxy Usage

The same information found in the "Create a Task" section applies here. Click here to read the Proxy Setup & Usage Guide

NOTE: The "Max Tasks Per Proxy" option within settings applies to both tasks & the stock monitor. So if you set this number to 1, and ran both a task & stock monitor w/ the same proxy group, 1 would fail to start.

Search Types

The search type defines how the product(s) you want to monitor will be found. Depending on the search type, you will input the information of the product(s) you'd like to monitor differently. The following are all of the potential options and how they are used.

This information is very similar to what is found in the "Creating a Task" guide.

All Releases:

Shopify Sites: Monitors for all new releases as well as restocks on the website.

Footsites: Monitors only new releases of all products in the Releases section of the website.

Keywords (Shopify):

The bot will monitor all products containing all of the positive keywords & none of the negative keywords. Negative keywords begin with a '-', each keyword should be separated by a comma & keywords are case insensitive.

Color keywords are optional and act the same as keywords, only color keywords may appear in either the product title or style.

Example for Yeezy Boost 350 Static Reflective:
Keywords: yeezy, boost, 350, -kid, -infant, -ps, -gs
Color Keywords: static, ref, -non

Note: -kid, -infant, -ps, -gs were used to avoid child sizing. -non was used to avoid the non-reflective variant.

Product URL:
The bot will monitor the product(s) at the given url. You also have the option of using color keywords with this search type. If there are multiple colorways/styles, you may specify color keywords to only monitor some of the products. You can read the keywords description above for an understanding of how color keywords work.

Footlocker example (AF1 - Any Color):
URL: https://www.footlocker.com/product/nike-air-force-1-07-lv8-mens/Z0339100.html
Color Keywords:

Shopify example (AF1 - White):
URL: https://undefeated.com/collections/all/products/air-force-1-07-white-white
Color Keywords: white

Product Number (Footsites):

Very similar to the URL search type & likely to be used for new product releases on Footsites before the product page is live.

If there are multiple colors/styles available on the product page, you can use color keywords to specify which style the bot should monitor. You can read the keywords description above for an understanding of how color keywords work.

Finding the Product Number:

  • The product number can be found at the top of most Footsites product descriptions as "Product #: xyz".
  • the product number can be found in the products url (white text in the following url): https://www.footlocker.com/product/~/Z0337700.html
  • The product number can be found in the url you see after clicking a product in the Release Calender (white text in the following url): https://www.footlocker.com/en/release-dates/jordan/55088180.html

Alert on Stock

Enabling this options means that you will receive desktop notifications when any of the products matching your search are restocked or released. If you are on Mac you will have to enable Push Notification permissions for Sneakers AIO when asked.

You can easily enable/disable this later by clicking the bell icon next to the restock task. A light bell means alerts are enabled, while a dark bell means they are disabled.

Run Task on Stock

Enabling this option means that a task will automatically run with your quick task settings (aside from sizing) when a product releases or restocks matching your search criteria.

Size Selection: The task will be ran using any of the sizes you selected unless "Any Size" is selected. If "Any Size" is selected, your quick task sizing will be used.

WARNING: Be careful using this option with Keywords, as if you aren't specific enough you may purchase an unwanted product. Generally, this option is best used with the URL or Product Number search types after a product is sold out.

Running the Stock Monitor

By default all stock monitor tasks run automatically when created unless the stock monitor is paused.

Running & Pausing the Stock Monitor

Resuming/Pausing a single stock monitor task:

  1. Right click the stock monitor task.
  2. Click the "Resume" or "Pause" option.

Resuming/Pausing all stock monitor tasks:
You can pause all stock monitor tasks by clicking the Pause Monitor button in the stock monitor.
You can resume all stock monitor tasks by clicking the Resume Monitor button in the stock monitor.

When a Release or Restock Occurs

When a release or restock occurs, it will appear on the right side of the stock monitor and look as follows:

Running a Task

You can click the button next to a restock/release to run a task for that restock.

Size Selection: The task will be ran using any of the sizes you selected unless "Any Size" is selected. If "Any Size" is selected, your quick task sizing will be used.

Viewing the Product in Browser

You can click the button next to a restock/release to open that product in your default web browser.
